Carol Dickol Revak, CFRE

Carol Revak is the founder and President of Revak Consulting, LLC.  She has over 30 years experience in directing both for-profit and non-profit organizations and has a successful track record in managing overall organization direction, finance, programs, planning, staff development, customer & donor relationships, grant writing and fund raising.

Carol has earned a reputation as a strong leader who can help turn around struggling, new or emerging organizations to make them successful.  Her customer-driven focus and her ability to quickly and thoroughly assess various aspects of an organization have enabled her to provide a unique, value-added service to her clients.

Carol has consistently helped her clients succeed in securing additional revenues via annual campaigns, donor cultivation, grants, and other development activities, and by identifying process improvements resulting in expense savings.  She effectively works with staff and management at all levels to help them strengthen their organization and better serve the needs of their constituents.  She is highly knowledgeable about the philanthropic community in Chester County, PA and is recognized for her strong leadership, interpersonal, organization, writing, project management and financial management skills.

Carol is an active member of the community and volunteers in a variety of leadership roles.  She currently serves as a director and Vice President of Finance with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Philadelphia Chapter.  She is a Committee Chair with the Philadelphia Flower Show and a Community Impact Team member for the United Way of Chester County.  In the past, she served as a director with The Barn at Spring Brook Farm, the Kennett Symphony of Chester County and Maysies Farm Conservation Center.

Carol is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as Fundraising Counsel.  She is is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is proficient in QuickBooks  Accounting software and all Microsoft Office applications.  She is also experienced with FIMS, Grants, e-tapestry and DonorPerfect software.  Carol received her BA in Psychology and her Pennsylvania Elementary Teaching Certification from Gettysburg College, and completed coursework toward an MBA in Finance from Temple University.

Strategic Partners

Carol works directly with all clients of Revak Consulting.  In addition, she has formed strategic partnerships with other organizations and individuals to augment the company's services to clients for specific needs that fall outside of our traditional consulting practice.  When appropriate, and with client approval, we may bring in one of our strategic partners to assist with an engagement.  At all times, Revak Consulting and its strategic partners work to help our clients strengthen their capacity to be successful.
